The correct aesthetics in a meeting and event building environment is vital to ensure the comfort of customers who could be using the venue for many hours at a time.
That is exactly what Dextra managed to achieve at the Valleys Innovation Centre in Rhondda Cynon Taff.
The Valleys Innovation Centre is located just off the A470 near Abercynon, and is a spacious purpose built facility with five function rooms and additional offices.It is also home to a few businesses and the council’s Corporate Estates department.
This is one of many jobs completed by Dextra for Rhondda Cynon Taff, having developed a long-lasting working relationship.
Here, Dextra helped provide an LED upgrade of the building where there was a mixture of old and newer style lighting, much of which was not working in many areas of the building. This was completed prior to new clients moving in.
Although energy wasn’t the main priority with this project, savings were achieved by switching old T8 and T5 lamps to our lower wattage wall-mounted LED products.
Dextra’s Reacta Air wireless control system was also supplied and installed throughout the building.
