SUPPORTING OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY
At Dextra Group we firmly believe that working with and supporting the local community is integral to the success of the company. Over the years, our employees have been involved in fundraising events for Children in Need, Comic Relief, Macmillan to name but a few, and as a company we have focused on the following local organisations:
Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance
The company’s charity of choice, with annual donations of £20,000.
Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance is a registered charity, established to provide relief from sickness and injury for the people of Dorset and Somerset, by the provision of an air ambulance, with an air and road-delivered critical care capability. Receiving no direct funding from the Government or the National Lottery, the charity rely on the generosity of the public for support. Operational costs are over £5 million a year and the approximate cost per mission is £3,000. We have had first hand experience of the vital role this service plays to save and enhance lives.
