Dexeco has a long-term working relationship with St Modwen providing lighting products to a consistent specification across the company’s logistics estate.
For this latest project, Dexeco worked with contractor TSG and consultant CPW, as well as architect UMC. This was a new flagship building that St Modwen used to promote their services to prospective new tenants.
All of the company’s estate is in the UK, making it easier for Dexeco to provide all products as one package, suiting St Modwen’s requirements.
The project was successful in achieving a BREEAM Outstanding & EPC A+ A BREEAM certified rating reflects the performance achieved by a project and its stakeholders, as measured against the BREEAM standard and its benchmarks. The rating enables comparability between projects and provides assurance on performance, quality and value of the asset.
The BREEAM ratings range from Acceptable (In-Use scheme only) to Pass, Good, Very Good, Excellent to Outstanding and it is reflected in a series of stars on the BREEAM certificate.
Dexeco also provided bespoke solutions for the project and this was facilitated by another of Dextra Group’s subsidiary’s, LEDextra. A Glide Pixel with a special 3D printed bracket to achieve a minimum depth requirement for an oak slatted feature wall was installed.

THE PRODUCTS
GLIDE PIXEL
The Glide Pixel RGBW and Glide Pixel White are IP66 rated direct view fixtures designed for both indoor and outdoor architectural façade and accent applications.
A total of 13 were used to create a feature wall within the reception area. All were DMX controlled and benefited from a customised 3D bracket to minimise the installation depth.
