Dexeco have had a long standing relationship with DHL in the UK. Awarded a preferred supplier contract for intelligent lighting back in 2009, the relationship has now been extended with a European contract being awarded with their parent company DP DHL.
After a year-long tender process in which Dexeco competed against lighting manufacturers from all over Europe, the contract was awarded based on best working practices, proven track record and lowest total cost of ownership for their unique intelligent lighting solutions.
Dexeco have already completed over 50 distribution centre upgrades in the UK for DHL, installing over 13,000 of the popular Verteco products with integrated intelligent daylight and presence detection.
The European contract came on the back of successful projects completed in Spain, Portugal, Germany and the most prestigious being in the Czech Republic where over 1,700 Vertecos were used in a 102m sq ft distribution centre. Surveys have already started on DP DHL’s expanding property portfolio across Europe.
