Once again, Dextra Lighting’s precision-engineered LED luminaires are receiving top marks within school lighting projects nationwide.
Chorlton High School, based in Manchester, is now home to an array of LED recessed lighting in the form of the MODLED, which have been used throughout an exciting new project.
A former courtyard space now boasts a brand new multi-purpose room complete with a number of continuous run MODLED SUSPENDED luminaires.
The highly versatile LED luminaire is suitable for a broad range of applications, including commercial environments, receptions, offices and delivers an exceptional education lighting solution.
The new building makes full use of the luminaire’s countless features, from a robust steel construction to an impressive light output ratio of up to 85%.
The MODLED is also available in lumen options of 1750, 2250, 3500 and 4500, boasting additional flexibility and the ability to deliver attractive lighting solutions within a broad range of different environments.
The luminaires were secured in a continuous run in order to tie in seamlessly with the rest of the design and was perfectly complimented with numerous Gyro-Light fittings secured to the outer perimeter of the sloping ceiling.
Offering recessed gimbal luminaires both individually or clustered, the Gyro-Light offers a perfect solution for accent and display lighting. Each head boasts the ability to both pivot and rotate to highlight displays effectively.
The light fittings are highly robust and able to withstand the demands of busy and challenging environments with its toughened glass cover, die cast luminaire heads and steel outer housing painted in black with white surround.
The Gyro-Light also impressively removes any requirement for on site assembly, as it is supplied fully assembled and ready to install. The versatile light fitting is also available in 1100lm, 2000lm and 3000lm LED variants.
