One of the largest bus operators in the UK have, once again chosen Dexeco to help rejuvenate their bus depots.
Following the success of products used within their internal areas, Stagecoach took the decision to invest in LED lighting fixtures to dramatically transform their depot’s outside lighting.
Stagecoach previously dedicated 12 months to fit their depots with new intelligent T5 lighting fittings and have now moved on to light the external areas with energy saving outdoor lighting in the form of LED lights.
Following the impressive performance of T5 light fittings, a brighter feel has now been given to the Hartlepool site thanks to the use of LED lighting systems.
Hartlepool’s depot has taken advantage of the Dexeco individually sensored LED Column Top product.
The bus operators’ choice was the versatile LED column top lighting, which can fulfil an array of modern lighting solutions for numerous applications including vehicle loading areas, car park lighting, roadway lighting and building exteriors. Waterproof LED lights offer constant light output, eliminating lumen depreciation over time.
The outdoor LED lights enable light levels to be maintained whilst reducing overall power consumption, offering an effective energy efficient lighting solution.
Stagecoach staff stressed that the depot’s brightly lit external area has been ‘drastically improved’ through use of the outdoor LED lighting product.
Offering an extended LED life with 0% lumen depreciation on some variants, the LED column top lighting offers Stagecoach effective energy saving lighting solutions within their depots.
The product also boasts a range of lens options, allowing for asymmetric distribution for roadways, as well as wide and narrow distributions.
With an R11 sensor for presence detection available with wide and narrow lenses, the LED column top lighting offers both contemporary lighting and adaptability to suit a number of environments. 
A dramatic reduction in energy consumption also highlights the energy efficient lighting qualities of the product, with staff praising the improvements to lighting levels and colour rendition on-site thanks to Dexeco’s contemporary outdoor lighting solution.
