The overriding factors in Leicestershire County Council decision to choose Dextra LED luminaires were the benefits of working in partnership with a UK manufacturer, the low maintenance nature of LED lighting relative to fluorescent sources and the reassurance gained by Dextra offering a 5 year warranty with high quality European branded control gear, all combined within a contemporary luminaire design.
Dextra proved the excellent performance of their product range from the outset with lighting designs demonstrating that the new Graduate LEDs installed at 4m x 4m would provide in excess of the CIBSE guideline lux level for this installation. This allowed The Performing Arts Department at Newbridge High School, Coalville, Leicestersire to halve the number of luminaires installed therefore providing significant energy savings.
