Energy efficient LED lighting system snapped up by The Co-operative Group

The Co-operative Group have recently invested funds to upgrade their choice of outside lighting at their Motherwell depot.

The North Lanarkshire site now boasts a replacement of former, traditional HID external lighting with Dexeco LED lighting.

Dexeco’s LED column top lighting was the Co-operative Group’s choice, offering versatility and a host of lighting solutions for numerous environments including car park lighting and roadway lighting. co-op-blog-image1

The adaptable lighting can also be used for other applications suitable for LED outdoor lights, including vehicle loading areas and building exteriors.

Power consumption has been greatly reduced through use of Dextra’s energy efficient sensored LED light fittings, allowing light levels to be maintained whilst reducing overall power consumption.

Constructed with diecast aluminium housing and an injection moulded polycarbonate cover, the LED luminaire offers up to 13,300 lumen output performance.

Lumen depreciation over time is eliminated, thanks to the constant light output offered by the energy efficient LED column top lighting product.

The product offers precise distribution control through a range of lens options. The LED column top lighting product also boasts presence detection capabilities, due to the availability of an integral R11 sensor.

Previous 400w flood lights at the depot have been replaced with constant lumen output sensored LED fittings, dramatically enhancing area floodlighting on-site.

Light levels have been maintained, however power consumption has been reduced through Dextra’s popular energy efficient outdoor LED lighting solution.

Constant output and a reduction in power consumption is apparent after the Co-operative’s choice in energy efficient LED lights.

With an extended LED life with 0% lumen depreciation on some varieties, the LED column top lighting was the obvious energy saving lighting choice for The Co-operative Group.
