The 2015 Energy Awards winners were announced on 2 December in front of more than 500 of the industry’s finest at a glamorous awards ceremony at London Hilton on Park Lane.
Skanska took the Energy Efficient Building Project of the Year, with the redevelopment of their Bentley Works site in Doncaster. Dextra Group provided the design and products that helped to slash energy consumption by 40% in the workshops and by 25% in the office building. The Energy Awards host Andrew Gavey said “It is fitting that in the week of the Paris global climate talks, we can celebrate projects, technology and services that make a real difference to our energy use. The winners here demonstrate that innovation in energy can help save the planet and often save money at the same time – and that should provide inspiration for both for businesses and governments alike.”
