Fabrication Scheduling Administrator

The Fabrication Scheduling Department produce fabrication requirements for both units 16 & 17 using requirement listings from the computer system.

Main duties & responsibilities

To cover all aspects of metal shop scheduling:-

  • Production of fabrication requirements list from the computer system.
  • Physical checking of fabricated stocks when required.
  • Updating of metalwork scheduling software with parts produced.
  • Production of work schedules for the relevant machinery or work stations.
  • Updating of work shop production figures (computer based).
  • Listing and computer logging of daily scrap figures.
  • Progress chasing of daily work and special projects.
  • Follow the Quality Control guidelines set by the Company.
  • Follow the requirements of the Company’s ISO Procedure.
  • Follow the Company’s Health & Safety Policy, work instructions and safe systems of work.

Post Requirements

  • Educated up to ‘GCSE’ Level standard or equivalent.
  • Computer Literate.
  • Highly motivated and can work under own initiative.
  • Willingness to learn other aspects of all fabrication processes.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Flexibility.
  • Good attendance.
  • Organised & have a methodical aptitude.
  • Fit & Healthy.
