Standalone Emergency Lighting – Simple, yet cost effective solutions

With the ever increasing efficiency of high power LEDs and the availability of a wide range of lenses on the market standalone emergency LED luminaires now often provide the most cost effective and simple solution for emergency lighting in a wide range of applications. With the ability to control the distribution with a range of lens types the optical distribution can be tailored to your application allowing you to maximise spacings between luminaires minimising installation cost and energy use.

The Dextra Lighting Highspot LED is supplied with an IP65 polycarbonate housing ensuring it can be used in a range of applications where protection from dust, dirt, water and light impact is required. With three lens options the optical distribution can be tailored for high level open areas, low level open areas and racking aisles in storage applications. Offering 500 lumen output the Highspot LED is designed specifically for high level applications or where very wide spacings between luminaires must be achieved.

The Dextra LED3 module allows the installation of emergency luminaires in optimum positions rather than integral to the general lighting. This allows fewer luminaires to be used with lower charging current than with more commonly used integral emergency packs in mains lighting.

The LED3 range includes both open area and escape route variants allowing the luminaire distribution to be optimised across your installation as well as recessed and surface variants.

Both the Highspot LED and LED3 range are offered in self test and auto test variants allowing you to minimise the cost of emergency testing requirements.

The Twinspot LED offers a flexible emergency lighting solution for high level installations with minimal energy consumption and the reliability of an LED source ensuring that lamp maintenance is not required. The polycarbonate IP65 housing is robust and resistant to dirt, dust and water ensuring it is suited to a wide range of applications such as warehousing, manufacturing and industry.

The low energy consumption of LED sources allows the Twinspot LED to operate from nickel cadmium batteries without compromising the lumen output allowing for low cost battery replacement without the environmental impact of traditional halogen sources utilising lead acid batteries.
